This means the buildings built on clayey soils are particularly vulnerable to fluctuations in the moisture content in the ground resulting in unsightly cracks or jammed doors/windows.
Our engineers are experienced in assessing the severity of these effects and can advise you on what steps you need to take to control, mitigate or eliminate these problems.
We will attend a site visit and measure up the crack widths. Once back to the office, we will pull together the data and produce a report discussing our findings, postulating the likely causes as well as the suggested next steps.
Fees may vary depending on the size of the property, but for the average terraced house our fees will start from £700.
