Looking to sell your house but your new potential buyer is wondering whether the previous structural works carried out at your property is compliant with the regulations?
While purchasing a building regulations imdemnity insurance is certainly one of the viable options, you could also instruct us to come out to inspect your property.
Our engineers will ask for any record drawings or floor plans you may have and instruct a builder to carry out some exploratory holes. These are small holes, no bigger than 200mm x 200mm on the floor, ceiling or walls to enable the hidden structural works to be inspected and measured up. Once we have this information, we will then carry out the calculations to confirm whether the works previously carried out are adequate for the intended use.
Next, we will put together a report outlining our findings as well as any relevant calculations so that you can submit to your local authority for approval.
Fees can vary depending on the complexity of the works, so why not get in touch with us first to go through your requirements?
